It just so happens I’m training a fighter for a fight that’s 3 weeks away and we’re in the midst of the Peaking phase, so to follow up on the article I just posted, here’s a video to see what a peaking workout for conditioning is all about.
For those of you who have my Ultimate MMA S&C program, you probably recognize this circuit. It’s a slight variation of my NRG System Bodyweight Complex.
BTW I shot this on my iPhone with an app that makes it look like it’s from the 70’s – this is not some rare footage from old-school training LOL.
Enjoy and let me know what you think:

If you wanna know EXACTLY how to integrate this type of workout in terms of volume, frequency, combined with strength training to get the BEST results possible, I highly suggest you follow the link below:

Thanks and have a good one!

Can I overlap the crazy ‘s with the ultimate s&c guide twice a week? Mma And what should I soon fight week?
[…] These are the different methods of Resistance Training (RT), which can mean anything from lifting weights to bodyweight training. […]
Nice circuit.. i really like the NRG stuff. It doesn’t look like your fighter is going full out though when he’s running through it. If I was training someone in this phase Id make them be explosive in their clap push-ups an lunge jumps..??
Oh By the way what is name of track in back?
Cool! Can’t wait to add to my routine, thanks again for share knowledge.
That damn app is stealing the show. 🙂
8mm vintage camera… pretty cool!
Thanks man, I really appreciate it!
Like the workout, but my question is towards the iPhone app that made the video look like that. Haha love that filter look. What did you use?
This stuff always looks so easy when someone ELSE is doing it! That little squat/push-up combo (the last exercise on the video) looks interesting; gotta try that.
Loveing it; thank you
you the man eric! looking forward to seeing Pat on the weekend – here is a great link – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=meAJfeva0YM&playnext=1&list=PLFDC2B1437FFD3EA1&index=80

I please to aim. 🙂
Hey eric,
Just wondering, any possibility you could make a text version of the workout? I find it so much easier to read a list than try to guess what someone is doing in a video….
