    New Rotational Power Exercise (The LANDMINE Snatch)

    The transverse plane is the plane of POWER, if you’re an athlete.

    If you’re not an athlete, then transverse plane training will ensure you’re training your obliques for rotational power generation/stability and little-worked muscles in your hips and shoulders.

    This exercise gives you all of the above and more and it’s fun to pull off, too.

  • 3D Training for Maximum MMA Power

    Halloween is around the corner and my fiancee and I are trying to figure out our costumes for the inevitable Hallowe’en bash.

    She’s keen on being an Avatar, which would be funny since she would be the shortest Avatar ever (she’s just barely over 5′ tall).

    I’m not totally sold on the idea yet.

    I’m still kinda attached to my Game of Death Bruce Lee costume (pics coming soon).

    But the talking about the movie and the fact that it was the first of the new genre of 3D flicks that are going to be assaulting our senses in a theatre near you reminded me about an important training concept I had to share with you.

    Yes, I’m always thinking about training.

    Anyway, training in THREE DIMENSIONS is necessary if you want to be a powerful and explosive mixed martial artist.
