The transverse plane is the plane of POWER, if you’re an athlete.
If you’re not an athlete, then transverse plane training will ensure you’re training your obliques for rotational power generation/stability and little-worked muscles in your hips and shoulders.
This exercise gives you all of the above and more and it’s fun to pull off, too.

Dude I’ve been calling this a grenade in the dojo well over a year ago….the only difference was you switch hands at the top of the movement and press. Thats awesome….I was ahead of Eric…let me just pat myself on the back real quick…**pat pat*** Ahhh life is good
A great progression to the Landmine Snatch which I’ve been doing for a long time, which did not include any rotation. I like it a whole lot.
That looks good. I’ll try it the next time I’m in the gym.
